The IARU “Biodiversity on Campus” Photo Contest 2025 is now open! From tiny insects and majestic trees to vibrant flowers and rare animals – we want to see our unique campus through your lens. 

Together with our partner universities in the International Alliance of Research Universities (IARU) – including UC Berkeley, Yale University, University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, University of Copenhagen, University of Cape  Town, National University of Singapore, Peking University, University of Tokyo, and ETH Zurich – we are collecting creative photo submissions until 31 October 2025 under the theme “Biodiversity on Our Campus.” 

Our goal is to create a global gallery showcasing diverse perspectives on how biodiversity is experienced and observed across university campuses around the world.

🌏 The best photos will be featured internationally within the IARU network

As a member of the International Alliance of Research Universities (IARU), ANU works alongside ten other international research-intensive universities to address global challenges and promote sustainability through collaboration. This photo contest is just one of the many ways we can connect across campuses and highlight the incredible biodiversity that surrounds us.
