ANU-Civic Loop goes electric

***Update 21 April 2026***

The campus loop bus is now trialing a brand-new electric bus throughout the pilot, offering a quieter, lower-emissions way to travel across campus. The bus seats 24 passengers and includes space for two wheelchairs, supporting accessible transport for our community.

Whisper-quiet on the road and fitted with regenerative braking to improve efficiency, the electric bus has a range of approximately 350km, more than enough to comfortably complete the loop each day before recharging overnight.

Please note: the electric bus may be temporarily replaced by a non-electric bus if it is unavailable or undergoing maintenance.

Route update (20 April to 1 June)
