ANU Carshare scheme launched

The ANU Carshare scheme is now available to staff and HDR students.

A joint project between the University fleet management and ANUgreen the car share scheme will offers flexible, self-service access to a range of vehicles from small sedans to 12-seater buses.

University staff and HDR students can hire vehicles for both business and private which can be booked through a convenient 24/7 online booking system. Rates start from as little as $11.99 per hour.

One of the benefits of the carshare scheme is that it will provide access to vehicles for doing chores at lunchtime, enabling staff to use more sustainable modes of transport to get to work. It will also reduce the demand for parking on campus.

The broader ANU student community will be able to access the scheme in the second phase of the project for private bookings.

To access the scheme staff and HDR students need to register on the on-line booking tool. To access vehicles, University ID cards need to be scanned and linked to the online booking tool before registration will be approved.
